CD-ROM of Capital Cost Estimator available
The Capital Cost Estimator for Process Plant in New Zealand, by by S B Jesen & W B Earl, is designed for chemical and process engineers and facilitates “study accuracy” capital cost estimations to be performed based on New Zealand derived cost data. Cost data tables for common pieces of process equipment and capital cost estimation methodologies relevant to New Zealand industry are provided.
The capital cost estimation data was collected from New Zealand equipment suppliers, consultancy firms and end users over the period January 2004 to March 2005.
ICIE 2010
The 5th International Conference on Ion Exchange - ICIE 2010 will be held at the University of Melbourne, Melbourne, Australia, from the 18-21 July 2010.
Note: registration of interest and oral or poster abstracts closes 31 March 2010.
Natural Fibres 09
As 2009 is the International Year of Natural Fibres the UK is hosting this International Conference at Drapers' Hall, London, from the 14-15 December 2009 to celebrate and highlight the increasing use of natural fibres, to raise awareness of their diverse properties, and stimulate an increased demand.
This two day event will offer an opportunity for natural fibre industries to come together to foster international partnership and increased understanding of the role that natural materials can and must play in ensuring a sustainable future.
CHISA 2010 and ECCE-7
The 19th International Congress of Chemical and Process Engineering CHISA 2010 and the 7th European Congress of Chemical Engineering ECCE-7 will be jointly held in Prague, Czech Republic, from the 29 August - 02 September 2010.
Note: the application for a paper presentation with a summary closes 30 November 2010.
Chemeca 2010
The annual Chemeca conference "Engineering at the Edge" will be held in the Hilton, Adelaide, Australia, from the 26-29 September 2010.
Note: the submission of abstracts closes Monday, 01 March 2010.
EPIC 2011
The European process intensification conference EPIC 2011 will be held in Manchester in the UK in June 2011.
