CD-ROM of Capital Cost Estimator available
The Capital Cost Estimator for Process Plant in New Zealand, by by S B Jesen & W B Earl, is designed for chemical and process engineers and facilitates “study accuracy” capital cost estimations to be performed based on New Zealand derived cost data. Cost data tables for common pieces of process equipment and capital cost estimation methodologies relevant to New Zealand industry are provided.
The capital cost estimation data was collected from New Zealand equipment suppliers, consultancy firms and end users over the period January 2004 to March 2005.
SCENZ Annual Conference AGM 2008
The 2008 SCENZ Annual Conference and AGM titled "Is there a Future for Chemical and Process Engineers in New Zealand?" will be held at the Waikato University, Hamilton, New Zealand, on Monday 20 October 2008.
